A single dad came to SC needing help with rent. He worked in construction, with the same company for 13 years. The recent icy conditions cut his work hours to almost nothing.

Brutal and beautiful. This is how Winter 2025 has shown itself. The recent snowy scourge brought challenges to all of us. Winter, as a symbol of hope and trust, was the most bewildering to me.

Put simply, our main services are assisting with rent, utilities, and prescriptions. But we do a lot more than that!

Shepherd’s Crossing’s mission is to provide compassionate assistance and financial support. We want to equip our clients with the ability to empower themselves and ideally pay it forward.

Last Fall, several families with limited incomes had to choose between school activities for their kids, or utility bills and prescriptions.

The Ryans are a wonderful hard working family of three. Both mom and dad work full time jobs.
